There are a number of circular walks provided by the County Council in association with the Redditch Borough Council.

These start and finish at the Arrow Valley Country Park, Battens Drive, Redditch and are the

Woodland Trail: which is a 2½ mile walk through woodland.
Meadows Trail: which is a 1½ trail through meadowland .
Lakeside Trail: a 1 mile walk around the Arrow Valley lake.
Millers Trail: a 2 mile route along the River Arrow to the Forge Mill Needle Museum.

Mappleborough Green Parish Council have a circular walk on their web site which can be downloaded. Please observe the restrictions on parking and access.

There are weekly Arrow Valley Health Walks beginning at the Countryside Centre. Please visit the link for information. This is supported by the Worcestershire Walking Network and Redditch Borough Council. Additional information on walks from the Arrow Valley Countryside Centre is available on their Walking Page on the Redditch Borough Council web site.

Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre, although not strictly a walk, have an attractive interactive explore our attractions plan on their web site.

For the adventurous, the Ramblers Association have a list and links to a number of long distance walks in Worcestershire or passing through Worcestershire. However, many of these can be covered in sections so don’t be put off by the total length.
